Day 27: Tucson

After a great night on the roof, we got up and got ready. Mike left with a friend to go to the mountains to spend some time alone with God for a day, so we didn't get to hang out with Mike, but we were able to thank him for letting us stay. When we were ready, we headed out to the local bus station to talk to people. We had several great conversations, and some interesting ones as well. Please pray now for the people we spoke with...that God would open their eyes to see their need for a Savior so they can understand the Gospel, repent, and place their trust in Christ alone... and to the people whom we passed out tracts to...that God would send someone to water the seeds sewn. We have several great stories from the bus station (too numerous to write), so just ask us about our experiences there when you talk with us.

Eventually, we decided to go eat lunch. After lunch, we went to the University of Arizona to share with people there. The first place we went to was the Student Union. I was looking for a cheap sticker or shirt or something, and I ran into a guy who was transferring from Sacramento, CA. We didn't talk long and it was just small talk, so I gave him a gospel tract when before he walked away. He read the front...then laughed, claiming he knows "all about that (I guess Christianity)" b/c he was raised in Catholic school. It's funny how so many people think they know so much but in actuality know so little (read Romans 1:22-23)...it's scary. Please pray now for that guy (forgot his name).

I couldn't find Brad and Austin, and I was tired, so I went back to the truck and took a nap. About 30 minutes later, Austin and Brad came back to the truck after talking with some people on campus. We decided to go get some rest at Mike's...so we did. Paul was there, so we talked with him some more until he had to leave for work. After that, Austin read Ephesians out loud and we listened...it was pretty awesome! We never actually went to sleep, but we all just kinda hung out....then we went to find a place to eat...we decided once again on Mexican. This time, however, the food was a lot better (especially the chips and salsa). When we got ready to pay for our meal, we gave the ladies at the counter a Spanish Gospel tract. I think they were Catholic, but they liked the fact that the tract was written in Spanish, so they asked me for some more and I gave them some. Hopefully, they will spread the Word to the workers there and to their friends and family. Pray now that God would use the words spoken through His saints and the Gospel tracts to spread the Good News of the salvation offered only through Christ.

After dinner, we just went back to the house, talked with Paul for a little while, then crashed...Brad on the bed again, and Austin and I in the day room (the coolest room in the house). We slept pretty good overnight...
