Day 19 - San Francisco to Isla Vista (near Santa Barbara)

We left San Francisco after seeing the beautiful viewpoints around the Golden Gate Bridge. We ate in Monterey at Chili's and found out our waiter was a Christian and goes to a Baptist church in town. We walked on the beach, which was very rocky and not sandy at all. We then drove down highway 1 which proved that God exists and it so incredibly amazing! The beautiful scenery of the Pacific coast blew us away. God lead us to Cambria, California just in time for the fourth of July fireworks show where we passed out tons of Gospel tracts and Clay and Brad had a few long conversations. After watching the fireworks with everybody we headed to Isla Vista where we knew a place to stay with a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend (yeah thats right). Isla Vista is pretty much a college party town and was supposedly voted by Playboy as the best college town in the States. We stayed with some Christian guys (pretty much the only ones there) and were immersed in the college crazy party scene. We spent the night in this place amidst the crazy parties going on above us and outside. It was really awesome to see that God has brought saints to be a witness in this town amidst such immorality and hearing the stories of God's work there blew us away.
