Day 33- Shreveport to Jackson

Today we woke up and headed out to Jackson, Mississipi. Clay called the local Baptist association and got connected with First Baptist Jackson, a megachurch with its own health club, workout rooms and giant sanctuary. We went to the church and talked with the activities pastor and the evangelism pastor, who bought us a hotel room at Hampton Inn and gave us free supper at the church that night. We checked in the hotel, then went to church and ate and got to listen to a sermon and fellowship with other saints. The college group met in another city that night, so we went to the regular service with the older folks but it was fun. Ya never realize how much fun it is to talk to older folks that have been in your shoes and are now more mature. We then went back to the hotel and stayed up till pretty late preparing our message for the youth in Tifton where we'll speak in a few days. Our message is on transformation and what it means to be transformed. We finally got some rest. Pray for our message this Saturday please.

This is simply so wonderful. May God bless you along the trip and bring you those He has prepared the hearts to hear.

I would really like to get some specific information, video, pictures, etc and present something like this to our youth group for doing.

Any assistance in preparation would be so appreciated. I am inspired by your example.

I wish I had know about this sooner as we would have traveled the 250 miles as you passed near our little spot in the world.

Amazing! It is so good to see God working through His followers.

May God continue to use and bless you for His purpose.
