Day 15- Virginia City

This early morning, Brad was up witnessing to a guy in the lobby of the hotel. He name was Dominique and he was the drummer of the J. Guiles Band, who sings "Love Stinks". He hated God because he had lost a lot of money and various other things had occured in his life to make him think God didn't know what He was doing. After a little sleep, we all left the hotel and went to Virginia City, a place where witchcraft and sin was prominent. Though we hoped to meet up with some believers Lorna knew there, we only could talk for a short time to one woman she knew because she was working. We walked around the city and ate dinner leaving a big tip and tract for the waitress, which is always a good idea. Clay and I decided to climb a mountain in the city because we couldn't go back home without having climbed one, while Brad stayed in the town and talked to a few folks. Though we now wish that we had spent more time in prayer and evangelism in the city, we know that God did send us some encouragment that was much needed. A Christian man who had been saved by reading a gospel tract earlier in his life encouraged us to pass out tracts all the time because certain people will never listen to someone but will read a tract. We then left for Lorna's to go take a needed nap and we watched some Way of the Master videos we had. Please PRAY for more saints to step out into the harvest field of Virginia City and proclaim the gospel so that the Lord can be ultimately glorified.
