Day 13- Wells, NV to Reno, NV

Today we ate breakfast and lunch with the Hewetts and played with their two little boys, then headed out to Reno, Nevada to meet with our good friend Lorna Bius, our old Sunday school teacher and college interim pastor. We met up with Lorna and got a hotel in the Silver Legacy, the main hotel and casino in Reno. We spent the night witnessing in the casino and outside the casino. I (Austin) talked to an older gentlemen that didn't act very interested, then talked with a group of about 6 or 7 dark-skinned guys. I found out they all claimed Mormonism, but were really Jack Mormons, or people that just claim Mormonism but don't follow its teachings. One of the guy's father was the bishop in the local Mormon church and they invited us to the Sunday service, although we had planned on going to meet with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. After a long and great conversation, all the guys said they would not go to Heaven, but Hell if they died and that it concerned them. I told them how Jesus died on the cross for the whole reason of taking our punishment for us so that we can be made right in God's eyes through faith in Him. We then talked about the Book of Mormon and its inconsistencies and they all were very grateful for the conversation.
